Sunday Letter #29

Ian,

I don’t know if these letters necessarily help me, or anyone else. But for lack of a distinct impression either way, I’m going to continue them.

This week was ok. I had a friend from college visit this weekend, which was really nice. I wish you could have been here to hang with us. She named your moose Johnson. I don’t even know if she realized how funny that was. But I liked it, so now the moose has a name. She also got me to hang it up, clean up, and organize more.

She said she thought my condo might be haunted because of a couple things she heard. I figure if it is, it could maybe be you. If so, you’re doing a piss-poor job of it. If you’re going to haunt me, my friend, you’d better do it right. I’ll grant that maybe there’s a learning curve, so I’ll keep my eyes open.

I’m mostly laughing about this. But there’s a teeny little part of me that hopes maybe there’s a possibility of that.

I still miss you. Surprise, surprise.

-Iris
